When you make a cup of DILVANG, you may not think about how far that little sachet has travelled. There are chè vằng hills, polyscias gardens, the hands of local farmers and of the factory team. This article tells that journey, so every cup on your table has a story.
DILVANG is a combined name. DIL comes from Đinh lăng (Polyscias fruticosa) and VANG from Chè vằng (Jasminum subtriplinerve). Both herbs have been part of life in Quang Tri for generations. The makers chose this name to bring two plants of their homeland together in one sachet.
The product's motto is “Green herbs – golden health”.

Quang Tri has fierce sun, and in summer the hot, dry Lao wind blows. Yet on gravelly hillsides like these, chè vằng grows in green rows. Local people see it as a symbol of resilience.

Quang Tri chè vằng is protected by a state-registered Geographical Indication, managed by the provincial Department of Science and Technology. The local small-leaf variety has a gentle aroma, a light bitterness and a clean finish. Read more in Quang Tri chè vằng – why is it protected by a Geographical Indication?

Vietnamese people have long treasured polyscias; many call it “Vietnam's ginseng”. In Vinh Linh it is grown right in home gardens, on rich red soil.

Old plants grow large, golden roots, the result of many seasons of care by local families.

DILVANG's herbs come from cooperatives and farming households in Cam Lo, Hai Lang and Vinh Linh, including the Cam Hieu Cooperative. Truckloads of polyscias and chè vằng are brought to the factory. Every delivery means income for local families, so these native herbs keep their place on home soil.

On 17 May 2025, the Gold Herbal medicinal herb factory opened in the National Road 9D Industrial Cluster, Dong Ha. Construction started in April 2024. According to VTV's report (in Vietnamese):
Tien Phong newspaper headlined it “Opening of the first GMP-standard herbal factory in Quang Tri”. According to Nông nghiệp Hữu cơ, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien called it “a strategic step to develop a high-quality herbal industry using modern technology” (both in Vietnamese).

The factory holds a GMP certificate for powder products, issued by the Vietnam Food Administration – Ministry of Health. Quang Tri Radio & Television (QRTV) described it as the first GMP-standard herbal factory in Quang Tri. QRTV's reports on the opening and on the GMP cleanroom project are shared on the Quang Tri Department of Science and Technology fanpage (in Vietnamese).
On 9 May 2025, the Quang Tri Department of Science and Technology granted Gold Herbal Science and Technology Enterprise Certificate No. 08/DNKHCN. The recognised result is an advanced drying technology for GMP-standard agricultural and herbal products that saves energy, reduces emissions and better preserves quality. Dried chè vằng and polyscias (GOLDHERBAL) are listed among the certified products.

Fresh herbs are sorted and cleaned as soon as they arrive.

They are then laid on trays and dried at low temperature. Staff monitor temperature and humidity throughout to keep the natural color and aroma.

Next comes EECV extraction (Extract – Evaporate – Concentrate – Vacuum). The herbs are extracted and concentrated in a closed vacuum system at low temperature, then cold-dried into powder. This technology was transferred from a science project managed by the Quang Tri Department of Science and Technology.
According to the product declaration, each 5g sachet contains 820mg of chè vằng dry extract and 180mg of polyscias dry extract, with maltodextrin as the only excipient. No preservatives, anti-caking agents, synthetic flavors or artificial colors.

Before packing, the team also checks color, aroma and taste, which must match the character of chè vằng and polyscias.

In the old days, making chè vằng meant drying leaves and simmering them for a long time. Now you only need 1 sachet and 300–400ml of warm water (40–50°C). Stir and enjoy: no leaves left behind, no boiling needed.

“DILVANG is not just a blend of two herbs; it is where folk wisdom meets science and technology.” — Gold Herbal, the makers of DILVANG
Thực Dưỡng Lành was born from a question that came too late: “If only I had taken better care…”. So before we introduce any product, we ask ourselves: would we make this for our own parents every day?
With DILVANG, we did not stop at paperwork. Before deciding to distribute it, the Thực Dưỡng Lành team travelled to the factory in Dong Ha to visit and work with Gold Herbal. We saw with our own eyes where the tea is made and met the people who make it, then checked every document. But what kept us was more than paperwork. It was the feeling that every sachet has a homeland, the people who grow it and the people who make it.
Each time you make a cup of DILVANG, you become a small part of that journey: hills kept green, family polyscias gardens with a market, and a hometown factory that keeps working.
DILVANG Instant Tea is a food product. It is not a medicine and does not replace medical treatment.
